Position of the comet at August, 03 2002, Sun distance 1.35 AU

At the beginning of 2009 the comet's distance from the Sun is 18.38 AU, this is almost the Sun distance of the planet Uranus.
C/2002 O4 (Honig) will leave the inner part of the solar system in a couple of years and will later immerse in the Oort cloud for ever.
